"Although the restaurant is pleasantly decorated, that was the highlight of our visit. We felt that there was a bad attitude to customers from the start. We asked for tap water and instead of being given a jug for the table, we were each given a half filled glass. When we saw the astronomical prices for drinks, for water, for creamy milk drinks we realised that we'd better make our tepid tap water last. The food was average with no extras like you'd expect our cold mezze plate for was basically some dips plus rice in vine leaves. No pitta you have to pay extra for that. Rest of food distinctly average, some not nice at all spinach parcels avoid. Very loud music playing. Large service charge added. Will never go back"

"I decided to make a reservation at Maison du Mezze for an early dinner before a show and I was not disappointed! Despite the slightly higher prices, the location right on Leicester Square made it worth it. The stylish decor, lively atmosphere, and delicious food were all excellent. They make their own juices and smoothies, as well as baklava made with real honey. The mezze dishes were all very tasty. By sharing small plates, we were able to save a bit of money without sacrificing quality. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we were served quickly so we could make it to the theater on time. I highly recommend Maison du Mezze and would definitely return."

"Middle Eastern cuisine is one of the top foodie trends of 2015. Since visiting Marrakech late last year, I have become quite the fan, even though I don't find myself eating as much of it as id like too. Lebanese in particular is one cuisine I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing thus far to date, so I was most excited when asked to come along and review this newly eating space in St Johns Wood.
