"I had been excited for weeks to visit red dog saloon as I have visited before and the chicken was good. We went on a Saturday evening and firstly it was very busy. We had booked a table so we’re seated after a short wait. Service was slow but it was busy. We ordered two main dishes (both chicken), a side of burnt end mash and a side of nachos. The chicken was very good. Plentiful in portion size and great flavour. This was the highlight of the meal. The mash was one of the most atrocious portions of mash I have ever laid eyes on. Swimming in what could only be described as fat rather than gravy. No taste other than fat and mash of such questionable consistency it didn’t appear there most of the time. This needs removing from the menu or changing asap! Scandalous presentation for £7.50. Nachos were stale and disappointing. No salsa and cheese on them also had no flavour. Not great for the £10.50 we paid for them. Service continued to slow the longer we stayed to the point where our plates were not cleared after our meal. Servers were often clearing tables that were empty rather than attending customers still at the restaurant (who may continue to spend money on drinks or desserts) or were talking amongst each other. We sat staring at the cold congealed mess of mashy fat before getting up, asked to pay with a server and left. Left disappointed as they had been great on previous visits. Sadly lost a customer here."

"I booked a table for persons for dinner we arrived minutes early but this was not a problem and got seated straight away, the waiting staff were very friendly, but from the moment we ordered (starter main) it went drastically downhill from there, starters arrived in good time but we were not even halfway through our starters when the (I assume was the manager as he was dressed differently to the others) brought our mains over!, I promptly stated as you can clearly see we havent even got half way through our starters yet' and asked him to take them away, which he did, starters and the shakes were the only thing nice about the food, our mains then turned up shortly after we finished our starters, but the meat (chicken) were absolutely poor tasted like they were part cooked yesterday and finished off when needed, my daughter and I left most of our main, the restaurant started to fill and it started to become clear that lots of customers were either waiting to order receive their order or waiting to have their finished palates taken away, we waited approx to have ours taken away!, I asked at one point do we have to take these to the kitchen ourselves , it was almost out of control with only waiting staff covering the whole restaurant which by this time was full and a other or so customers at the door waiting to come in, staff was never going to contain this, more and more customers were getting out of their seats and going up to the waiting staff regarding orders or wanting to order, with that amount of staff the manager should have closed off part section of the tables before opening so it was manageable, I went up to one of the staff member and told him that I have asked several times to have our plates cleared which has been approximately minutes now and order dessert, again met with the same apology other customers had been told, in the end after waiting minutes we had had enough, got the bill and left, never again!!"

"Came with big family party for my birthday. Extremely disappointed, starters were ok but all came at different times, had to ask a waitress where one was as everyone else had finished theirs and she just looked absolutely clueless as to why we were talking to her. New waiter didn’t even know what dishes he was bringing out and looked at us to answer for him, fair enough he’s new but come on, train your staff the basics. Didn’t get free bottle of wine even though we ordered tapas. One blonde girl walking around just playing with her hair and we didn’t understand the point in her being there, she didn’t do a thing all night, she just looked like she’d got lost. We didn’t get asked if we wanted a drink the whole night, had to keep asking where our mains were, an hour and 45 minutes later they arrived and my ‘jerk’ chicken burger was so bad, the bread sopping wet and falling to bits and the chicken was just plain chicken breast with none of the **** cut off it and slightly seasoned. the ‘manager’ said this was cause the chef had put ‘loads of sauce on it’ but there was no sauce at all, bone dry chicken, didn’t put any spicy sauce in like I asked and when I requested it they brought me a squeezey bottle to do it myself. Cajun chips came plain and when we told them they just sprinkled some Cajun seasoning just on the top, meat was all fatty and sparse on the bbq combo dish, boneless chicken wings were just chicken tenders!!?? The ribs had no meat on at all literally just bone, curry was cold and plain with no flavour to it at all. Everything bang average, staff unbelievably immature, very badly trained with no customer service skills or communication skills. The managers response when we told him all this was ‘I can only apologise’ so we had to request for money to be knocked off our bill, which they did- fair enough but we had to really push for this. Feels like they hire very young staff and don’t bother training them. Honestly a very, very poor experience and would never go back or recommend to anyone. Don’t ignore the bad reviews they’re all very accurate. The only member of staff I appreciated tonight was the girl with the dark hair who first took our order, she was the only one with any customer service skill or any sense."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Recently moved to the local area and decided to pop down about 10pm on a Tuesday with a friend. Was really pleasantly surprised to see around 20 people in a local pub on a Tuesday night with quite a good atmosphere. My friend and I were impressed by good value pints but disappointed that the barmaid called last orders at 10.30pm despite their website showing a closing time of 12am. Undeterred we tried to enjoy our pints but the barmaid started quite quickly to close up, clearing tables is understandable but we found turning lights off and loudly pulling down shutters to be quite uncomfortable. Upon leaving, I tried to ask for clarification for future reference, and was advised that the bar closed at 11pm, despite the information online. A regular did explain that the closing time depends on how many people are in the bar but if 20 patrons aren’t enough for a Tuesday in a residential area I can’t see it ever being open to 12. A nice atmosphere but I’m not sure how comfortable we will be going back."

"The vegan burger at this restaurant is delicious and there are several good options to choose from. I tried the sweet corn fritter burger with no cheese, and my friend had the beyond meat burger. Both were really tasty and I would definitely order them again. The onion rings are also a must-have!"

"We were able to enjoy the new dining area upstairs which was a fantastic atmosphere. We ate buffalo chicken wings, the Argentinan steak loaded fries, the original chicken loaded fries, frickles, a gooey brownie and we brought some sausages home for the dogs (completely dog-friendly ingredients . All of the food was SUPERB and the service was great. The beer and drink selection is awesome and we would definitely partake in latenight drinks and nibbles here (open till midnight!! and whilst we didn't have the dogs with us this time, it's DOG FRIENDLY!! These guys have done such an amazing job with this restaurant and just keep going from strength to strength. Definitely check them out when in Aberdeen."

"if I could give this place, minus stare I would, ordered the food for the half of the last seven and not nearly twenty to ten. I get his pandemic, but if they can't honor orders, or they're probably very late, so on the website to say its not hard to update their website to say that they eat over two hours before it appears, but then I assume that they don't want that, telephoneed and asked where eating was after the first hour, a murmurmured it soon. I like to eat this, but I will never order here again, perhaps the staff like eating at this time of night, I don't and if they aren't honest enough to just say how long it will be, then I go somewhere."

"We visited today and our Hooters Girl Helen's service was excellent considering she seemed to be the only one serving tables. Hooters is what it is. Is their better places to eat in Nottingham?? Yes, BUT you could say that about most restaurants. Hooters is a great restaurant with a chilled atmosphere. Great food, sport and beer. May be worth attending well in advance if you are eating there before a concert or something as they can get really busy at times. All in all a great experience. Thanks we'll be back"

"Squirrelled away above The Running Horse, the oldest pub in Mayfair, is a speakeasy style, Kentucky Derby themed cocktail bar. There's a shabby chic mix of interesting and comfy furniture and brightly coloured jockey silks adorn the walls. The staff here really know their stuff, they are walking menus, very professional, warm and friendly and clearly love what they do. The signature cocktails are the juleps which are served in metal julep cups with metal strainers instead of straws. A really original serving of a classic drink made very, very well. Food is southern style bar bites, beautifully presented. The menu includes gems like deep fried pickles and shrimp and grits. This is a great place for a party it's fun, friendly and the food and drink is fantastic. I've been here with friends, for big parties, taken clients here and been for a romantic evening with my husband. I've even felt comfortable enough to pop in for a sneaky julep on my own after shopping. It fits the bill every time!"

"After not visiting this fried chicken restaurant for a few years due to lockdowns and the pandemic, we decided to book a table as a birthday treat. We made sure to book in advance to secure a table for the time we needed. The restaurant had all the standard COVID prevention measures in place, such as masks, dividers, hand sanitizer, and social distancing, which made us feel more comfortable. The service was good, with drinks being taken promptly and we never felt rushed throughout the evening. Our order included a Korean BBQ burger, Nashville Hot wings, 9 chicken tenders, a buffalo chicken burger, assorted fries and sides. The meal was tasty, with my fried burger not tasting greasy. The cocktails were decent, although the Chicken Rum lacked the flavor I remembered. We ended the evening with Churros and chocolate sauce, which hit the spot. Overall, it was a good experience, possibly helped by our excitement at getting out of the house for the evening."

"While I was placing an order at the self-service screen, I encountered an issue with redeeming a voucher. A staff member directed me to the checkout counter for assistance, and during this time, my son sat at a table nearby. To my shock and disappointment, Aaron, the kitchen manager, instructed my son to give up his seat to other customers who had placed their orders. My 13 year old son advised Aaron that his mom was at the checkout, but Aaron persistently asked him to move in which he did in front of other customers. I am absolutely appalled by this treatment. As a paying customer, my family and I have every right to occupy a space while waiting for our food. It is unacceptable that my son was made to feel unwelcome and displaced while I was trying to resolve an issue caused by the ordering system. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I am now questioning whether I will return to your establishment in the future. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and ensure that no other customers are subjected to such unfair treatment. "Disappointing. Poor at best. Had our first slim chicken at the Merryhill Shopping centre in Dudley which was extremely good quality. We travelled out of our way to Cabot Circus looking forward to another SLIM chicken. All I can say is I won't be bothering again. The chicken was over cooked and dry. The staff didn't seem like they could be bothered. Constantly walking past dirty tables. We had to clear a table ourselves to find a seat. As did other customers. Happy to pay for quality. You're certainly not cheap. Not happy to pay your prices for poor quality. The quality at KFC would have been better on this visit un my opinion. "what is most consistent in this place is that eating is always great. However, I have to take a sign at this opportunity, as the service was a little chaotic. it felt like they might have been a couple of employees. we were. on Saturday, so we expected it to be busy. but wait mins to arrive for our drink (it seemed only one person who works tirelessly behind the bar). then, when the food arrived, we had to get someone the attention to bring the kitchen roll and some forks. the table behind us had problems with some of their foods not arrived and were asked if they wanted to take a burger away. it is a shame, really, otherwise this place would be constantly shouting after gabriella (I hope this is right), which seemed to realize that it was a touch-chaotic. would return alone for eating, but Sat service could definitely be improved."
