"We went here for a special family meal and it certainly lived up to the occasion. The food was delicious and the staff exceptional. We felt so well looked after and the atmosphere in the restaurant was brilliant. We had a selection of different starters, mains and deserts (I can highly recommend the mango sorbet) and came away delighted. Certainly worth a visit!"

"Lovely experience! Went here as a last minute as another restaurant was full and was very glad. Warm welcome. Amazing service. Amended a dish based on a picture shown taken from our recent trip to Thailand. If you’re looking for traditional thai you should ask specifically and ask for it to be spicy Order pork Kaprow “Thai style” if you like it traditional (minced pork) style as we do. Some dishes have western twists which are great for some. Food was delicious. We were in Thailand a few weeks ago and was lovely to be around the food and culture again. We will definitely return. Staff were all fantastic."

"First time trying this place and was not disappointed! Lovely small independent restaurant with superb food. They didn't hold back on the spice, great balance and flavours to the dishes. The service couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating and the décor gives a nice look and feel. They're currently offering 10% off dine in eating 05.04.22. I'll definitely be going back again. It's by far the best Thai I've tried in the local area. We ate: Beef kra-pao, green chicken curry, som tum and prawn drunken noodles. All were excellent."

"My other half and I ate at The Zen Garden a couple of weeks ago. We had previously visited this restaurant to celebrate our engagement back in 2019 and were looking forward to eating here again. We ordered the satay, spring rolls and papaya salad which were delicious and full of flavour. Unfortunately the mains were not up-to scratch (Pad Thai Goong Tofu with mixed veg). This was particularly disappointing for my partner who is vegetarian so options are not as broad as non-veg options. The Tofu with mixed veg dish (Med Ma Muang) in particular was very disappointing. The tofu was very tough and rubbery (Which is characteristic when there is too much excess water held in the tofu). When brought to the waitress ' attention she kindly asked the chef on our behalf and the feedback was that this was the way it was cooked (This dish was not rubbery during our last experience). For a dish that costs £18.95, I think the minimum expectation is for the main condiment of the dish to me edible which was definitely not the case. As as result we left the dish untouched. Overall, it was a disappointing experience considering we had such positive memories of this place from our engagement. Parking: Sufficient parking spaces for both non electric cars."

"As avid lovers of Thai food we are very fussy about our choice of dishes and know what we like. This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, we can actually say the green curry was the best we have ever tasted. The staff were so attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is so busy, with a lovely vibe, you don’t visit for the decor but the staff and food are all you need to ensure you enjoy your Thai experience. We look forward to our next visit."
