"I last reviewed The Kings Head a few years ago when it had changed hands and had gone down hill badly! I'm now delighted to report the current landlord has got the place back on its feet both as a pub and a restaurant. We had Sunday Lunch on 1st January and the food was nothing short of superb. The best roast beef I've had in many a year and the yorkshire and vegetables were beautifully prepared and imaginative. My wife's vegetarian option was lovely and she ate every last bit! The service was lovely, making us feel at ease, unrushed and well cared for. It was also great value. We will be back soon. It's so good to have our local back again. Thanks to all involved!"

"This was our first visit to Brooks and it definitely won’t be our last! The tapas were delicious and very good value for money. They all tasted very fresh. Would recommend the tempura vegetables. The young man who served us was really friendly and helpful. Very clean and safe venue."
