"My friend really enjoyed their burger, but the spicy chicken wings I ordered were quite disappointing. They had a kind of stale taste, as if they'd been fried once and then fried again. I'm not sure what the issue was, but they didn't meet my expectations, especially considering the price. The chips were decent, though. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and there was a good selection of non-alcoholic beverages."

"Loch Ness inn was clean friendly. We just in to have a pint. After a bike ride. Rooms: I don’t know about the rooms didn’t stay but I can image there would be clean comfortable. Walkability: We were in a campsite which meant they were only half a mile away which is walkable from us. Food drinks: The last time we were here the food was nice. This time we only had drinks came in twice each time they were friendly. Rooms: 5"

"Lovely pub with amazing staff! Laura, in particular, was really helpful helping us find a table and recommending food for us. We shared a selection of the small plates they were great, and perfect sharer options for friends out for drinks and nibbles. The food was a little slow coming out, and some bits were a little cold, but we put that down to ordering quite a few different dishes, and it didn’t spoil the experience overall. We did witness an uncomfortable incident where a very unhappy customer was complaining in quite an aggressive and intimidating way, but Laura kept her calm and handled it amazingly well. It was hard to watch, so must’ve been awful to be on the receiving end of that kind of complaint management should be proud of their staff!!"

"I visited this Indian restaurant last week, and it was amazing.The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The decor was beautiful, and the ambiance was perfect.The restaurant's menu has a great variety of dishes, and the flavors are authentic. The chicken tikka masala was so flavorful, and the naan bread was fresh and warm.The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and they make you feel welcome. "My family had booked the conservatory area for my hen party. On the day, the owner phoned to check with us in the morning if the booking was fine it was. Then about before we are due to arrive, and my family have...arrived to decorate the room he tells us that we can no longer have it because it has already been booked. Even though we booked it weeks earlier and spoken about it on multiple occasions to check the details. To add insult to injury, the manager also tells us that we changed the date earlier in the week when no one did. Plus management called in the morning to confirm the booking. Then they refused to move the other people out saying it was a wedding occasion but when we arrived, it was clearly a birthday. Furthermore we were then placed in the main area, but my family had spent loads of effort and money on decorations which we simply could not put up. Had we known how shoddy this would be, we could have done it anywhere else. I had about guests some of whom had travelled hours and from many different areas in the country to be there, only to receive this awful experience. The management told us that no one else would be allowed in the main area to accommodate us, again you have guessed it. Yet another lie. About later the tables were full of people and they had clearly not done as promised. The service was also slow, and terrible. The owners of this establishment are awful people. If you have double booked, admit to it and offer a larger discount. Instead they just ruined what was supposed to be an amazing night full of memories through anger and inconvenience. We couldn’t do any of the games or the preparation we had planned. Worst experience with memories of India ever. Do not recommend this place ever."

"This was without a doubt the worst dining experience that I have had in many years. Upon arrival we were seated in the dining room which was very quiet with only one other table occupied. We then waited minutes before we were offered a drink. Thirty minutes in our food order was taken, at which point we were told there was no steak'. There were six main courses on the menu, two of which were steak which all three of us had intended to order. Unabashed we ordered two soups and a gravlax starter, were were then told that there was no gas working in the kitchen and that some of our food would have to be prepared in the adjacent farm shop Our starters were OK' at best. When our main courses arrived they were.. Fish Chips, tepid and dry. An over cooked, barely warm burger and a plate of the most unappetising, inedible muck I have ever been given. Ham, egg and chips. I didn't try the ham or the chips, as the eggs were ice cold and rock solid (I was later told that they had had to be cooked in the oven as there was, yes, no gas). Why a restaurant would operate in this way I have no idea. If you don't have the facility to cook, stop seating people in your restaurant and trying to wing it' I returned the food and asked for the bill. When it arrived the H, E C had been taken off, this was the only concession that was made. The waiting staff were very apologetic, the person whom I assumed was the manager, not so much. She seemed genuinely put out that we were unhappy! We received our starters an hour after we were seated and our mains minutes later. I said I would not pay for the main courses as the whole thing was a fiasco which was met with the retort you ate the burger I said that if the mains weren't taken off of the bill I wouldn't pay anything and so they were grudgingly removed This pub/restaurant is far from cheap, but I have eaten a there lot. The food is usually good, sometimes very good, but this was unacceptable in every way"

"This is a very nice restaurant. No frills and no sumptuous decor, it’s a straightforward small eatery. Very clean. Food was exceptionally good for quality of ingredients. I had Rogan Josh which was excellent. It appears to be a small family run establishment, not verified, and the staff are very helpful. It’s been around a while, as I remember it from a previous visit in 2007. Would highly recommend this restaurant for good quality food at reasonable prices."

"I would like to share my negative experience at Rossopomodoro Hoxton on Tuesday night. My friend and I walked in around 10pm for pizza and cocktails, but we did not feel welcomed. The chef seemed annoyed and no one from the staff acknowledged us. There was a man on his phone, possibly the manager, and a girl at the till. After waiting for a few minutes, the pizza chef had to remind his colleagues to attend to us. Eventually, the man came to our table and we asked if we could still order. Despite his confirmation, his demeanor suggested otherwise. We ordered a Diavola pizza to share and two cocktails, but were disappointed to learn that only a few drinks were available. The only positive aspect was the friendly pizza chef who interacted with us. The man continued to focus on his phone and the girl did not check on us. When she collected our plates, she only asked if we enjoyed the pizza. I decided to request the bill and paid over £45 for the meal, including a service charge and Ocean Care fee. Although I did not receive good service, I left without addressing my concerns as I wanted to leave quickly. I had visited Rossopomodoro two years ago and had a better experience. If this is the new standard, I will not be returning."
