"A family run Italian in Acton. Cosy and much more intimate compared to more well known Italian restaurants. The service was good and our waiter friendly and attentive. We were offered complimentary bread and olive oil for starters which was not great unfortunately. We felt there was too much olive oil and the bread was so hard, that we were struggling to chew it and so had to leave the bread. For mains we ordered the truffle ravioli in a ‘creamy sauce’ and the vegetable pizza. We were impressed with the pasta, which tasted fresh. The sauce was average; unfortunately, it was watered down and not too creamy as described on the menu and therefore it was just falling off my fork which was disappointing. Unfortunately, the vegetable pizza was also not for us… the base was very thin and after just five minutes we struggled to cut the pizza and would need something much more vigorous than a knife to cut through the base. However, willing to come back to try other pastas as that was good and the service also excellent"
