"I took my adult son for brunch this month in April, as we wanted to see if the restaurant was dog-friendly since he has a new puppy. We also wanted to see if the food was as good as it used to be. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations on both counts. We both ordered a large breakfast, I am a pescatarian so I had a veggie breakfast while my son had a Full English. The mushrooms and tomatoes tasted like they were from cheaper suppliers, which was disappointing. I had visited this cafe about six years ago with my partner and it was amazing back then, easily the best cafe in that area of Wickham Road. However, both my son and I felt that it had declined in quality since then."
