"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We arrived early evening for dinner. The open kitchen is there but to be honest I wish it was out of sight. After all, it’s a pub not some fancy fusion place where the spectacle of the chefs at work would be awesome but in reality it was a very basic kitchen. The choice of beers was great and again, the staff were friendly and attentive. Outdoor area for smokers or dining al fresco looked interesting and a great idea. Food arrived and was frankly pretty disappointing. 1/10 for presentation and it was a bit of a non event. In summary, a great pub for drinks and larger groups to hang out but don’t expect much from the restaurant as that was pretty basic."
