"Went to Barru with my wife and two adult grand children who we hadn't seen for some time. The food and staff were both excellent. The volume of the music was a different matter. For the size of the venue it was far too loud. Although my wife was sitting next to me, I just couldn't hear what she was saying to me. The same applied to my grand children with me. The suggestion from Barru was to come at a time when the music is not on. I am sorry but I like to go to a restaurant when I want to go not because there is not any music playing. I will not be visiting this restaurant any more as much as I like the food and staff."

"I went here for lunch with my family to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is stunning and ambience is great. The food was honestly fantastic, tasty and good portion sizes. Can't fault it! The thing that will keep me coming back was the service. 10/10 and they really made an effort to make me feel extra special on my birthday."
