"I've eaten here before today and I knew from this experience that the portion of food on the all day breakfast is vast. I'm not sure why there is not the option of a small breakfast when there is a regular and a large. The regular has two of each item and I understand that the large breakfast is three of each item. Would a small breakfast of one of each item not be an option? I'm raising this as today I saw huge amounts of food being left on peoples plates and being dumped. While the owners don't seem to mind this because the customer has paid for the food, surely now we are much more aware of waste and the environment would the small option not be viable for the customer? I also observed the issue of not having a machine for card payments and only taking cash. There are two small signs informing the customer of this. One is stuck to the far right of the ice cream counter and directly behind a seat in which a customer was sitting, obscuring visibility and the other very small sign is on the right of the entrance door. Today an overseas visitor to our city ordered a varied and profitable amount of food and drink at the counter. His companions were sitting outside. Once his order was placed he attempted to pay with his card and was then told that it was cash only. The gentleman went back to his companions outside and I could tell by the confused looks on everyone's face that this was not something they wanted to do. The gentleman then came back to the counter and cancelled the order. Why are the staff not informing customers when they are presented with the menu of this very odd and outdated practice before the customer orders their food. So many customers had to go and find a bank to get cash clearly unaware of this practice until attempting to pay their bill. The food tastes lovely and we had a really nice girl serve us but signage must be larger and more visible re cash only."
