"Very disappointed. Booked for 7.30 on a Thursday evening. Seated quickly and was instantly aware that a conversation wouldn’t be possible over dinner, the acoustics were awful and the noise deafening. Staff were friendly and took our order swiftly. Starters were ok (arancini and cod fritters) a bit bland and very dry, could have done with some aioli or something. We shared a plate of very well cooked pasta with beef ragu the highlight of the meal. Then came the mains, veal with polenta, and monkfish. The veal was 90% bone and the polenta was a soup surrounding it, unpleasant at best. The monkfish was drowned in oil and garlic so much that you wouldn’t have known there was fish on the plate. We passed on dessert. Overall, incredibly disappointing and definitely will not be bothering with Murano again, there are far better places to eat in the immediate vicinity."
