"This restaurant is absolutely stunning! The atmosphere is peaceful and the staff are exceptional. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The menu is extensive with plenty of options to satisfy all appetites and a unique selection of beverages (Irish Coffee Martini - delicious!). The dishes were beautifully presented, generous in size, and most importantly, delicious! The staff were attentive and friendly. There was also a fantastic live performance, as Boisdale of Belgravia always has them (check their website for more information). Without drinks, expect to spend around £80-£100 for two people (including a starter, main course, dessert). I would definitely visit again."

"Always incredible service, delicious freshly prepared food and decent value for money. This makes The Parsons Pig one of our favourite places for everyday dining. It’s clean and cosy but it’s still a pub, so nothing to scream about in terms of ambience, but if that’s all I can complain about, this is pretty close to perfect! I highly recommend the Mogo Chips as an easy to pick starter. Their Biryani’s are incredible as a main the Naan’s are always a perfect, freshly made accompaniment. Highly recommended."

"let me start with the positive ones. grub makes some creative paninis/sandwiches and plays some great music. at my first visit I had the hammer of thor in a baguette, which was a beautiful large part and super tasted. the service was very fast and also, although I arrived on a busy Monday during the lunchtime. the negative is that the inner is not the most welcoming. it is a bit naked and economical look. could be 5 stars, but just need this additional touch to make the inner more attractive."

"Came here for a brunch with the girls after finishing University. The drinks are absolutely gorgeous! The food was okay, we had a platter to share, it was nothing special. The pizza was very good. I had a great time here until the waitress was incredibly rude. We added our student discount and she stated we didnt look like students and walked off. We also removed the service charge (to tip in cash) and the women again was incredibly rude and stroppy, said okay purposefully avoiding eye contact and stropped off again. Didnt leave the tip in the end, disgusting attitude. She was very short and rude to us the entire time."

"On walking in we were shown to the bar and told it would be a short wait for our table, it turned out to be seconds rather than minutes, the staff were very pleasent and helpful and patient. The food and drinks arrived at just the right timing and both the food and drinks were spot on. I would recommend Bellini's to all, mywife asked a waiter if he could take a photo of our party and he did so with no complaint at all. All the staff were polite and friendly."

"Hats off to the management and staff of Cantinetta for truly earning this one-star review from me. It was a team effort that I felt deserved recognition. We had guests from out of town and it was up to us to pick a restaurant that showcased the best of Crosby (according to Google reviews). We were a party of 10 who had reserved a table for Saturday evening with plenty of time to prepare and even pre-order if needed. Upon arrival, we were seated and given the drink menu. Unfortunately, the staff took 40 minutes before taking our drink orders, despite reminders. They seemed to make excuses rather than fulfill their duties. We should have probably left at that point, but we stayed. The food that was eventually served was inedible, particularly the Bruschettas which were popular choices for starters. There were delays in serving the main dishes as well, with some younger guests jokingly starting to eat the table. Thankfully, the main meals were of decent quality once served, but the service lacked any apologies or acknowledgment of our dissatisfaction. When we spoke to the manager about our experience, he seemed indifferent. This lack of care or apologies for a subpar experience on their part is the reason for this one-star review. We arrived a little early and were greeted at the door and shown to a sofa were we enjoyed a cocktail until our table became available. Once shown to our table we found it difficult to make a choice as there were many nice things on the menu however having made our choices were not disappointed....our starter of the shared meat/cheese platter and my scallopini was delicious. We could not fault the service, food or ambience of Origins so much so that I’ve booked a ‘girly’ birthday lunch there. What a welcome addition to Great Missenden."

"Pathetic, waited 3 hours for delivery, when we phoned to chase the order the second time I spoke to some rude women who showed no compassion or empathy and didn’t apologise for the delay!? 25 minutes later we saw a confused looking guy carrying a delivery bag but had no car. I refused delivery and the poor delivery driver said he was only given the order 20 minutes ago!?!?We decided to order from a competitor of Cavaliere which arrived quickly and who we will be using in future.To the owners of the Cavaliere we understand that occasionally these things can happen BUT to spoken to in that manner by a member of staff is completely unacceptable!"

"Lunchtime visit for 4.warm welcome from staff who showed us to table for 6 so plenty room to spread out, by the window so great views of the Thames. Quickly offered water, left for few minutes to ponder menu, water served, questions about menu explained, order taken and wine delivered. Waitress very friendly, attentive and professional. Starters served after about 10 minutes which left time to chat, admire views. Parsnip and apple soup was lovely, 2 of had Bavette steak, winter greens and frites served hot, good amount of steak which was very tasty and fat/rustle free.Asked for time before dessert served, Eton Mess and Orange cake well recommended.Thoroughly enjoyed our food, great place for lunch.Understand restaurant to close for two months at beginning of January for Rick Stein makeover, will be interesting to see changes made, new menu and how different the Depot will be when reopens."

"I was here on a date. we asked if we could have drinks at the bar and the manager said yes, while we noticed a table in the restaurant area at the bar and asked a waiter if we were sitting there and. the menu. he said yes, we wanted to order dinner when the manager came and told us we had to go. the table was not reserved as we asked the waiter. After he refused to give an explanation why we could not sit there and order food, he took our drinks and returned them to the bar. not only was this humiliating, but completely unreliable. the manager insulted me when we went out after he refused to give a real explanation for his actions. Maybe he doesn't like black people or gay people or train his staff not right. or maybe all three? here's a photo, if you see him, can you find out?"

"I went into this bar for a catch up with some old friends. We sat having a nice catch up when the doormen arrived. They then asked us for proof of vaccination, I provided proof in the form of my vaccination card from the nhs,...apparently this was not valid?? Turns out that one of the doormen “Jamie” has a problem with my pals. Completely unacceptable that they behave this way and absolutely incompetent. I will never go in there again. Only reason for a higher rating was that the bar staff and all the kitchen staff to be honest were lovely, however avoid evenings because the door staff are horrific."

"I used to frequent this restaurant in the early 1980s. There was no television, no food except for bags of crisps, and only a pool table and darts for entertainment. The cask ales they had at the time escape my memory now."
