"The food was great (had a very lovely afternoon tea) but unfortunately the service was poor; although polite when speaking to us the service staff pretty much ignored us once we had ordered our food. My friend and I wanted to order another hot drink but had to wait 45 minutes for someone to take our order (despite attempting to get someone’s attention several times) and then again when wanting to get the bill it took standing up and putting our coats on after another long time waiting (and asking several people) to actually get the bill. I want to blame it on how busy the restaurant was however we saw several tables around us come and go in the time we were there."

"We were allocated a table just inside the door leading from the hotel to the restaurant, behind the host's table. To say if was freezing is not an exaggeration. Every time the front doors of the hotel opened (which was often) we were subjected to an icy blast of air which spoilt the meal. We mentioned this to a few servers but were not offered an alternative table probably because the restaurant was full. We could not wait to eat and go. The menus is too limited. As someone who doesn't like burgers, cannot eat pizza and is lactose intolerant there were very few suitable options. Bottom line is I would not go back."
