"It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, likely due to the local carnival happening nearby. We started with tempura prawns, and my husband had swordfish while I opted for the steak and kidney pie. For dessert, we both enjoyed raspberry cheesecake. The food was cooked to perfection, and the addition of some homegrown vegetables really enhanced its freshness and flavor. There was a beautiful blue Russian cat that roamed the premises, and the landlord was fantastic. Establishments like this truly deserve to be busier. We visited during our holiday and would definitely recommend it. The food was excellent, and the host was superb. Although the surroundings felt a bit dated, we chose to eat outside, which was lovely. Make sure to visit and see for yourself!"
