"The welcome was reasonably attentive, and the service for our starters and main courses was acceptable. However, even though the restaurant wasn’t full, it was quite noisy. The music wasn’t well-suited to the atmosphere and, at times, was excessively loud. Little details like this matter. There were no soft furnishings or curtains to help absorb the sound.
We found the food experience to be mixed. The starters were enjoyable, and my wife's main course was quite impressive, while my pasta dish was just average. The dessert menu was very limited, lacking options for coffee, dessert wine, or cheese. These felt like significant omissions.
Overall, it was a mixed experience. We genuinely wanted to enjoy our meal, but it seemed to fall short, especially as service declined towards the end of the evening. At one point, we even had to fetch our own coats since there was no host to bid us farewell.
In summary, my wife would recommend the restaurant based on her main course, but I wouldn’t, as there were too many shortcomings. I hope this feedback is helpful."
