"Had to ask for the table to be cleaned when we sat down as it was dirty from the night before! Food was lovely but nobody asked if we wanted a pudding or a coffee. We had to go up to the bar to pay as nobody came back to us. Didn’t seem to have many staff on as the last time we came was New Years Eve but that was worse. Not sure if I’ll be hurrying back but the Trout has always been a family favourite and a meet up place."

"Returned to Fishers with two friends who had looked after my home whilst I was on holiday a friend of theirs joined us for her first visit to Fishers. I had intended to have a Sunday roast but instead opted for the Lemon Sole which was delicious. Eton Mess was an alternative to the missing Baked Alaska that was double delicious, I remarked that it should be on the menu full time. All in all I highly recommend Fishers, not only for the food which hasn't yet left me wanting but it's a delightful place to spend some time get out of cooking!!"
