"We received a very friendly greeting and the staff kept us informed until we were seated. The menu had a great variety of options and there were plenty of cats around, but not too many to overwhelm our young guest who was nervous at first. There was no smell of cats and they were very entertaining to watch. The restaurant is brightly decorated, with an interesting and unique vibe. I would highly recommend it."

"Another stunning meal from Fethr today. Started with a refreshing sangria Then our table was complimented with dish after dish coming out to enjoy altogether. The mussels are so big and juicy in a bread soaking white wine sauce. The crab was lovely and fresh!...Oysters delicious! Always served with a smile and left feeling satisfied. Thank you Fethr!"

"the place serves well cooked and delicious food. the atmosphere and the decoration are all full of French motives and the garden is an amazing place to eat on a beautiful sunny day. the staff is helpful and the food didn't take long to get out. "The service was outstanding, and the food was incredibly delicious. Even though the restaurant was busy, they promptly found us a table. When there was a delay in our meal preparation due to another customer with celiac disease requiring a thorough cleaning between dishes, we hardly noticed it. Our server came over to inform us about the situation and assured us that our food would be ready soon. I didn’t expect such a high level of friendliness and professionalism in a restaurant located in an outlet park, but our experience far exceeded our expectations."

"Unfortunately after 6-6 trips we had our first bad one on Sunday. They had issues with the Open Table app and wasn't expecting us, the service was very slow and we just couldn't the attention of staff and when we asked for milkshakes as a treat for the kids were told they didn't have any milk... (there are supermarkets nearby) we will try it again.. but wanted to post a review in the hope management see that the standards which originally drew us in (i.e. super friendly staff, high levels of service etc) appear to be dipping.... hopefully just a blip."

"Not happy with food or service table was booked online but they couldn't find it when we arrived. However there was plenty of room so not a problem. Two of us had food that was almost cold, within the space of 5 minutes 3 different waiters came across and asked if all was okay. Asked for Horse radish sauce and they didn't seem to know what it was I think they went to the kitchen to find out as it eventually appeared. We should have complained then, however, we were going to the theatre so on a timetable, we had already waited quite considerable time for the meal, considering there were only 14 covers in the restaurant at the time! Not we will not be going back."

"our first visit to veeno, the restaurant staff was very attentive, prompt and polite, we sat almost immediately (depending on how we wanted us to sit through the main entrance door.) drinks and food order were taken shortly after the purchase and the food arrived immediately. the cheese and the meat sharing plate was delicious, much portion for both. would recommend this restaurant to others, a good visit."

"eating was not something to be impressed. easy. had the steak on the screw a few bites, plate was not revealable small place with salat, chips and meat hanging up to £16? , meat lid quality . not worth £16. I made a note about the booking as a celebrated birthday dinner, asked for the desert to get a candle or a small bday approach. but nothing. I recommend to the staff to check the booking comments, even the venue was almost empty, no one disturbed. small things make the difference. but much better opportunities around this place."

"Generally I love Cafe rouge and we went in to celebrate adopting our children. We had somewhere to go onto and had left an hour and a half for food. The restaurant was really empty but service was so slow that our children did not have time for dessert before we had to leave (this was part of their menu). I oredered the four cheese pancakes. They were obviously pre made and had been microwaved/ baked to within an inch of their lives. They came in a little pot and were both dry and stodgy at the same time. They also came with a tiny tiny salad in a little bowl. No dog cam let ask if we were ok or if our food was ok and overall it was really really disappointing."

"This venue has got to be the most iconic Cafe Rouge in their portfolio. Beautiful art deco building a joy to sit in. Great food. Visited 22 August 22 lunch and we enjoyed good, hot tasty, well presented, reasonably priced meals. Our waiter Mario was fantastic. The best mix of attentiveness but not overpoweringly sycophantic. Happy, pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Took a pride in his work which can be a challenge to find nowadays. Well done and thank you both Cafe Rouge and Mario!"

"Food was not fresh, lumpy couscous, cold and stodgy potatoes. Nothing like the original cafe rouge, did not represent value for money. Far too expensive for what it was. We would not go there again. A clearly struggling chain with a tiny menu ... strangely enough little was actually French cuisine. Sorry for bad review but that was disappointing and I would really like my money back."

"We used to frequent this restaurant often because of the great food and kid-friendly atmosphere, with quick and friendly staff making it a good value. However, our recent experience on Mother's Day was disappointing. When my wife arrived slightly before me, the manager watched her struggle with a pram and did not offer to help. Additionally, half of the menu items were already sold out by noon. When the food did arrive, my wife's medium steak was overcooked and solid. The server did not address her concerns, and the service was slow overall. We were also overcharged, which I thankfully noticed before paying. It is disappointing to see the decline in the quality of the restaurant, likely due to a change in management. Our experience left us feeling ripped off and put a damper on our special occasion. Unfortunately, we do not plan to return to this restaurant."

"I visited this restaurant with some friends on New Year's Eve. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly, despite the busy atmosphere. However, we waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. I had to approach a waitress to finally be attended to. We placed our food and drink orders all at once, but waited an additional 30 minutes for our drinks. After seeing another table who arrived after us receive their drinks before us, a friend complained and our drinks arrived shortly after. By this point, we had waited over 50 minutes just for a drink since being seated. The food arrived around 20 minutes later and was delicious, so no complaints there. I understand that the staff were overwhelmed that night, but it was still poor customer service. It seemed like they were more concerned with seating as many people as possible rather than attending to those already in the restaurant. In conclusion, I do not recommend visiting this restaurant on a busy night as the service may be disappointing."

"I liked Zizzi when I was vegetarian, after going vegan 2 years ago it's nice to see chains like this catching on to get our vegan money. The vegan menu is pretty good, I had the vegan version of my old favourite pizza with squash balsamic dressing on, no big difference in taste using the vegan cheese."

"Pre-marathon carb-loading meal so I needed it to be early (6.30 table) and not messed around by an incompetent waiter who lied about the reason for a 40+mins delay to serving our main courses. Food was functional at best. Disappointing evening, not worth the money. At least the poor service saved us the expense of dessert, more drinks and a tip. Freezing cold in there too. Much better when it was Auberge, not this soulless dump."

"I was very disappointed with my experience at Cafe Rouge in Victoria. As a regular customer of the franchise, I chose this branch as a central meeting place for a group of friends. However, we were unhappy with the cold atmosphere, noisy environment, and lack of service. We waited over an hour for our food without any apology from the staff. I believe it would be best to shut down this branch, as it reflects poorly on the reputation of the other restaurants in the chain."

"The Resturant was cold the entire time, we were told only to sit in specific seats because there was only two of us, for then couples to sit in those seats anyway. We ordered are food first out of all the people in the resturant, we got given our food last as the waitress gave our food to another couple, they new they had messed up but never told us and just ignored us until we mad an issue of it. We also ordered drinks that never happened until we ordered them again. It has potential but just seems unorganised. P.s Do not get the shakes with spirits, they are expenisve and you do not even notice it, for all I know they didnt even add any."

"Myself and my Husband visited Cafe Rouge, The Mail Box on Saturday 10th September for my Husband's birthday meal.As Always we enjoy the experience very much,as we alway's do. Very friendly attentive staff,and a good choice of food on the menus.Plus because they are one of the group of retaurant's where you can use your Tesco's Club Card Voucher's a meal that should have cost 73.15 cost 33.15! I would recommend this particular Cafe Rouge to anyone!"
