"Was a return visit for us and was just as good as we remembered. Service was friendly and efficient, the staff took time to assist with menu selection. Food was lovely, good portion size and as described on menu. Overall a great experience, the food here is authentically Indian, spiced without being overly hot. Highly recommended."

I was totally blown away, how delicious it was eating and so were my colleagues. the portions are generous. they will not be disappointed. the lady who took my order was nice and she even brought it to my car when I sat outside and waited!"

"On a Monday night just after Christmas the restaurant was unsurprisingly quiet. We were a party of 6 plus my 2yo niece. Service was excellent and the staff were more than happy to take my nieces dinner into the kitchen and heat it up for her. The food itself was excellent. 6 adults, 6 different meals, 6 empty plates! If you like it spicy the honey chicken with ghost pepper sauce is highly recommended."

"I made a reservation online, which was confirmed, but when we arrived, we were not allowed in because they were clearly overbooked. To make matters worse, we were treated very rudely and turned away. This completely ruined our evening. Thank you for that!"

"If you're in search of authentic Greek/Cypriot cuisine in Nottingham, look no further than Eviva Taverna on Barker Gate in the Lace Market quarter. This restaurant is situated in a cellar and has the ambiance of a traditional Greek tavern. They offer a wide selection of mezze dishes as well as a diverse a la carte menu. In addition to the classic chargrilled kebabs and steaks, they also have a good variety of vegetarian options. The drink selection includes Mythos and Keo beers. On select nights, guests can enjoy Greek and belly dancing entertainment. Overall, Eviva Taverna is a solid Mediterranean restaurant with reasonable prices."
