"We planned to visit here today to get some breakfast, and, being Covid aware, we checked the website to see if booking was mandatory. The website directed us to their Facebook page. No booking required. We turned up and scanned in, then waited a short while for a member of staff. The staff member asked if we had a booking, I said no, I didn’t think one was required. He said ordinarily it is not, but they are only serving pre-booked customers today due to staff absences, and we were turned away. I understand their predicament, but am frustrated that there was no sign on the door explaining or an update on their facebook page. I value service above all other things, and feel their service today was poor."
