"What a lovely restaurant. Very pleasant and very good service. We had a special event to celebrate and I wanted to add a bit of a ritual to it and the staff needed no prompting and were happy to accommodate. They even made a special, complimentary desert for us. The food is exquisite, maybe a little expensive, but devine. My only gripe was that they only have one menu. An establishment of such calibre and clients should have two. One with the prices and one without. I didn't want my wife to be choosing or limiting herself due to the price. If she'd had a menu without the prices she would have been more relaxed and experimental. We SHALL be back."

"I booked a table for a Sunday dinner here to celebrate my birthday a few weeks ago. there were more than 20 of us, so was concerned that it could be difficult to order/pay, or that eating not all come at once, but everything was brilliant! the staff was so helpful and friendly and eating was great. freya was especially helpful in the few days that led to the meal, as she took orders for everyone via email that made everything so much easier on the day. they would be highly recommended!"

"We had the worst experience with the fish and chips at this restaurant. We felt like we were ripped off. We placed an order for pick up and when we got home, we found that the chips were undercooked, soggy, and some even tasted raw. The fish was bland and tasteless, with too much batter - it was like eating cardboard. We had to add salt to make it somewhat palatable. We ended up throwing away all the chips and could only manage to eat some of the fish. To top it off, it was incredibly expensive - we spent £28 for two people! It was a huge disappointment. We suggest avoiding this place at all costs as it seems to have no consistency in the quality of their food, as evidenced by all the 1-star reviews."

"that is really not a good restaurant. it's the only place I've ever been where they don't open the wee before them. it has already been opened. if you charge 12.5% service fee, you should have professional trained staff. the personal was pleasant and helpful, but not professional restaurant service staff. the food was mixed. huh pretty good, kartoffel excellent, brot served cold and not substantial. lamm curry tasteless. dice, hard lambs in a watery sauce. In portions sizes on all feeds were very limited. each single lamb chopper is on £14. yep £14. who would pay that. Oh, I! We were overloaded for the postings on the bill itself, which I had to check with the original menu. some excuse was given over the system. meal for 4 with 1 bottle of wine and 3 beer, 1 g"
