"The Study Room is a bar and restaurant offering a good selection of vegan options and Manager David was extremely helpful as regards my enquiries about allergy requirements and assured me which dishes I could have. We ordered pitta bread and dips to start, which as it turned out was a good decision, because the main courses were good sized portions. The houmous, guacamole and salsa were delicious mopped up with pitta bread and we demolished it quickly, as we only had a vegan Magnum for lunch, as the weather was scorching and we did not feel hungry. Main courses were a vegan chilli hot dog for hubby and falafel and spinach burger, both served with chunky chips. We could not fault either dish, they were substantial and satisfying, the burger was moist and tasty, with lashings of sriracha and hubby loved his hot dog covered in melted cheese, although we failed to finish all the chunky chips, but not for the want of trying. I was impressed with The Study Room and would definitely make a return visit, when I make my next trip to Lancaster. Highly recommended."

"Having booked a table for 3 a week before during the government eat out scheme, we arrived at the restaurant sharp 6.30 pm as per the booking. We were asked to wait outside and it had started raining.I was asked for the name and booking details. The staff brought the book and could not find our booking so went to ask the owner. The owner came with the book and told us someone called and cancelled our booking and she could not do anything about it. We tried to say why would we do that and she was not willing to listen. The restaurant may have cheekily cancelled our booking if they had shortage of tables. Never again shall we go there. Worst customer service.."

"I visited Bath Pizza Co last night with my partner and her family to celebrate her graduation. We decided to order the calamari because it was delicious on our previous visit. Unfortunately, about ten minutes later, we were informed that they had run out of calamari, which was disappointing as there weren't many other starter options. We opted for the wings instead, and they were fantastic. However, shortly after, they unexpectedly brought out the calamari, leaving us confused due to the lack of communication from the staff regarding the mix-up. We waited 45 minutes for olives, and just as the starters arrived, our pizzas came out as well. The food truly is amazing; however, since they operate from two different kitchens, the service and timing can be inconsistent. They also forgot to bring two dishes but still charged us for them. There needs to be better communication between the kitchens. I would suggest opting for takeaway instead; dining in may not be worth your time and money!
