"We booked a meal here as it was my partners birthday. We had a reminder on our phone as table booked. When we arrived it was very busy, we were told after a wait at the bar that we had no table booked. The manager was summoned who informed us that he was sorry but the system went down due to high demand so they didnât receive our reservation, we should have phoned to check and he couldnât accommodate us. I told him it was unacceptable, why would we phone to check if we received confirmation and reminder, we were not from the area and staying here from out of town so had no idea where to go, he didnât even offer us a drink when I said that. He literally turned his back on us and walked away. Disgraceful. We couldnât believe it. Tunbridge Wells bar and grill were amazing, just a walk up the road."
