"We visited the Chesterfield Arms in January 2023 for a birthday celebration. The ground floor features a bustling pub with seating and a wide selection of drinks, while the upper floor offers a more relaxed dining experience. When we arrived, we were informed that the pub was short-staffed, but honestly, we would never have noticed otherwise! The waitstaff were both very attentive and friendly. We ordered several dishes, and I have to say, there was nothing to fault with our meal. Everything was delicious, especially the beef Wellington, which was outstanding. My partner enjoyed it so much that they cleaned their plate, but I would have happily shared it with someone else. Overall, this place is a hidden gem that is definitely worth a visit!"
