"The afternoon tea we had was enjoyable, and the service was mostly fine. We requested some extra sandwiches, which is typically not an issue in England and is usually added to the bill. While we were waiting for the sandwiches, my son surprised us by bringing his sister along. However, the chef abruptly shouted, "Who ordered for them to be taken?" On his way back through the restaurant, he counted us and exclaimed again, "It should be 7, not 8!" They had mistakenly added an extra person, which was quite embarrassing. If we had known they would be joining us, we would have informed the hotel ahead of time. We've enjoyed afternoon teas all over the country, and this was, unfortunately, the worst service we've experienced. It’s a shame because the food was quite nice."
