"Such a disappointing evening. We went for a dinner on my birthday with my kids 8 and 10). We had to prompt the staff to give us menus and then to take our orders these were the signs that we had a slow night ahead of us. The food was good but it took 30 mins for cold) starters to arrive and 1.5 hours for mains. This was a Wednesday evening in October so hardly peak season. We kept being promised that food would arrive soon but it didn’t. After eventually asking that they sort things out they did realise that things had gone wrong. They did offer a free ice cream or bavlaba but after we declined saying we needed to get the kids to bed they didn’t offer a single penny off the bill and still added the automatically included service charge. I expect others have had fine experiences at this establishment, but I certainly shan’t be darkening it’s door again. Given the wide choice of restaurants locally and the demise of the previous restaurant on this site it does not augur well for these guys long term. A massive disappointment as I love the concept and it could be such a winner. :"

"Very disappointed as the restaurant did not recognise my booking through open table. The waitress was not happy that we had a tastecard and told us that we should have booked in advance and when I told her I had rang several occasions then to tell me that the phone number that was advertised was incorrect . Finally there was no baby changing facility and she said the disabled toilet had a bigger space in order to change the baby so I assumed she meant I could change the baby on the floor."

"I ordered 3 meal times to collect that came to £18. this must be one of the cheapest almost food meal times from all before place. the quality cannot compare with others, of which we have been patterned and disappointed. last week we had an oversold legendary soggy cattle battle with cold chips. here has never been served by the consistently good quality that eat or take it away. I wish they would deliver on wet Saturday night. never order chips to take away, although they do not remain hot."

"I booked this restaurant for my mum's birthday. They set our table in the requested sofa area and we got a cosy corner which had been decorated with some small trinkets. My mum likes this restaurant so that's why we booked it. My sister and her bf live in Dalston which is known for Turkish restaurants shoulder to shoulder, they were pleasantly surprised and loved the food. I have been here before with my mum and I think they took extra care cooking the meats this time as all were perfectly cooked.. The fish was a little over cooked but it was still nice. This is not a fine dining restaurant and is your typical take-away or eat inside style place so I was very thankful for the care they took. Our waiter was also very nice but they always are, last time was the same when we went. The house was 3/4 full but I didn't feel like I was waiting."

"Went with my wife last night and have not been to this restaurant before. So glad we did! It had a nice ambience to it and it was fairly busy. Our waiter was great. We explained we had not been before and was not sure on portion sizes etc. He made some good suggestions and we definitely was not disappointed! A great little shared Meze starter with the best Falafels we have tasted!! The sausage pieces were amazing! The main dish again was to share and a mix of meats served with rice and a salad. We could not fault it! Such lovely flavours and more than plenty. In fact we could not eat anything else and rounded it off with Turkish coffee and Turkish delight!! Both **** lovely!! All the staff were lovely and polite. Thank you all for such an amazing night!! We will definitely be back!!"

"as part of the big group to the birthday of a friend. Turkish cuisine has a very well maintained and lively atmosphere. the staff were very attentive and friendly and were there when they needed them. eating was plentiful and tasty with a lot of choice to fit different flavors. the cocktails were also very good. Turkish eating is a pretty bottom and the team here put the bar high."
