"Not sure what went wrong but when we arrived after 3 groups of family members all drove in from different areas for over an hour each, the pub was shut. Our booking was for 1pm on Friday 20th Dec 2019. Noone answered the door or the phone. It was pouring of rain and we had to get elderly disabled family settled in an alternative pub without a booking which was difficult. The pub had my telephone number and email address as did the online booking system 'Open Table ' so they could have contacted me to advise they were closed and to cancel my booking but noone did so. I could see lights on and a dog was barking inside but doors were locked and despite banging on the door no staff were there. I would like to know what happened?"
