"Great location if you’re looking for a quiet drink and people watching at the north end of St Albans’ city centre. Great selection of beers. The staff are generally really friendly but, for some reason, there appears to be a high turnover. Food in the restaurant is to a high standard and a restricted selection is available in the bar. For me, this pub/restaurant often goes from great to average to great again I guess, because of the high staff turnover. It has the potential to be consistently great if the owners can hold on to great staff."
