"I am a student at Derby University and have had trouble finding a good Chinese takeout since leaving home. I would recommend Modern Cuisine as a reliable option. They have delicious chow mein and fantastic vegetable spring rolls, and the portions are generous. However, the rice is a bit plain. The delivery is always on time or early, which is a plus. Sometimes the food can be slightly cold, but we just heat it up in the microwave and it's not a major issue. Overall, it doesn't quite live up to the star rating."

"Really disappointed with my meal last night. I have been a good customer for a wile and always been happy apart from the special curry always having at least half of the dish being onions to save on meat so we order with no onions problem solved. Well after last night I will no longer use this place. My wife wanted special chawmain for a change when i dished it up it came in the small tub that's for rice not the main dish tubs that are twice as big so it was only half a meal tiny amount not even half a plate of food and to call it a special chawmain is a disgrace dry noodles full of onion two prawns yes i did count them and if you put all the meat together which was just dry chicken you wouldn't have made a chicken nugget out of it. Sorry never again. He thinks he's saving money scrimping on ingredients and portions but actually just losing a customer."
