"Absolutely shocking! Very little choice on the menu for starters. Finally ordered and they they get the drinks wrong. Then our meals come out. Both had steaks. Wrong steaks on the plate. We had each other’s. (one with sweet potato, other with normal chips. I had well done, husbands was medium/rare. After swapping as mine was clearly rare, I then saw that the other was medium rare! No well done! But it was inedible! The sheer amount of grizzle on the steak made it unable to eat… sent back and the manger came to speak to me… offered another stake as well as my husband as his was the same… although he couldn’t be sure another stake wouldn’t be like it again as they’ve had a lot of complaints about the stakes! He goes and checks… comes back and says actually they are all that bad, and stake is off the menu! Would I like anything else? We’ll not much choice when stake is off, as is the sweet potato curry and the pepper pasta!! Bit screwed if your a veggie or vegan… like the table next to us… who were offered just small salad for dinner!!! I ordered the curry, that came 30 mins later by which point my husband had finished his food… he decided to eat the steak bits he could plus the chips…. All we was offered to say sorry was a free drink… we don’t even drink alcohol.. so a free coke or water?! After refusing a free water, they eventually offered 1 free pudding! Left the table still hungry!!! Lovely anniversary meal… cheers!!"
