"Decent atmosphere at Neil Rankin’s meat focussed restaurant where definitely more suitable for a friends night out than a romantic quiet date night. Steaks are fine but not in the same league as Goodman or hawksmoor. The lamb carnitas small plates was probably the best dish, and the cheeseburger taco is good too. Service was a bit hit and miss when it’s busy it can be hard to get attention etc. but overall still fine. Ultimately with London’s Uber competitive dining scene it’s not somewhere that I would specifically recommend to go to be honest, as I don’t think it does anything specifically better than anywhere else. Still not bad an option for a meal before a night out or if you’re looking for a party atmosphere with a big group of friends. Not a foodie restaurant. It’s current rating of 3.8 on google is a bit harsh probably closer to a 4.1 or so. C.£60 70pp. 14/20 overall"
