"My first trip to the Oxo Brasserie for 15 years did not disapoint and really enchanted my companion which had long wanted to eat here. I was not aware that it's now run by Harvey Nicks. There was a live jazz duo playing all my...standards which greatly added to the ambience (but clearly were not appreciated by all the diners) whch included several quite large groups. There's only a limited nuber of choices, for starters and mains so it would be wise to look at the menu befire booking. I had the marinated rare beef with wasabi and pickled cucumber whichwas excellent. The Tiger prawns were reportedly very good. We both had the Jasper pork chop . The wild rice and barley ddn't quite make it probabbly better to have wld rice on its own. The parsnip was undercooked. Limited range ofcocktails which were all delivered as ordered. The young staff were extremely willing, able and friendly and cleary allowed to show initiative."
