"You could be fooled into thinking the food service is great as it looks busy from the outside. It was very expensive for what it was. Difficult to get a pizza wrong but the crusts were really difficult to cut through even with a sharp knife. Penne pasta dish was tiny and left our soon very hungry. Deserts tasted like they were bought in a supermarket. To make things worse my father left his 80th birthday card unopened on a chair. He realised and went back with 3 MINUTES. I had been opened by the staff there was no money in it ! and then ripped up and thrown in the bin. He was really upset and no apology. Much better Italians in town at the other end."

"This was our first meal at the restaurant the starters were rapid and amazing, the letdown occurred with the main course where a meal was not placed and a side dish was missing making the meal disjointed when the missing items arrived they tasted rushed. This aside I will be going back to give them a second chance highly recommend anyone who loves Italian food in the heart of Bedford"

"that is the best restaurant in bedford and eating is always delicious! we had a party of 17 on Saturday for a birthday meal and eating was amazing and for such a big party they got all order right and everything boiled to perfection. the staff is so helpful and friendly and it is always a joy to go there. the owner is a beautiful man and for my mother, which is accommodated in a wheelchair and 2 children's cars. I would recommend amici 100% to anyone looking for delicious food and a warm friendly atmosphere!"
