"I made a reservation to revisit this restaurant, and despite receiving confirmation of the booking, the hotel called to ask for a credit card to secure it. I found this to be inappropriate and unnecessary, especially since the restaurant was not busy when we arrived. When we got there, they pushed tables together and informed us that they didn't have a high chair available. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to take our order, but all we got was water without a glass. The orange juice I ordered tasted like it was mixed with concentrate, not freshly squeezed as I had expected. It took another 5 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The food took a long time to come out, and when it did, it was lukewarm and mediocre. My order of poached eggs and brown toast came with 2 eggs and a small piece of undercooked white bread on a tiny plate, while others had regular-sized plates. The eggs benedict looked good but was also cold and lacking in flavor. The scrambled eggs were average, while the French toast with fruit was the standout dish - generous portion, perfect temperature, and delicious taste. Overall, our group was not impressed with the service and found the majority of the food to be underwhelming. We also found it odd that there was a TV show playing almost constantly."
