"I’ve been coming to the Eastern Eye for over 15 years and Chef Murali has always stood out as being authentic and warm hearted. It was only when I returned from my first trip to India that I realised Chef Murali’s cooking was sharing the genuine taste of Indian cuisine. The Eastern Eye went one step further to provide me with 100% confidence they can entertain from an intimate setting to a full on traditional 50th birthday celebration party setting, for 40 of my friends. Chef Murali again demonstrated his skill and generosity in providing a buffet at the same quality as the a la carte restaurant menu. My house favourite dish is the Kerala Vegetable Curry and although I’ve never experienced the delights of a DOSA, the Eastern Eye is one of the only places in Brighton and Hove that offers this Indian delicacy. The Eastern Eye is one of Brighton’s most delicious Indian eateries and is sported by its minimal and stylish 1980's decor. It’s a family run restaurant and has always delivered on its promise of real spices that warm your belly :"

The prices were very affordable, ranging from £1 to £10 per person. I would definitely recommend this place for a great meal. The food and service both deserve a rating of 5, while the atmosphere was also quite nice, receiving a rating of 4. Thank you to the staff for a lovely dining experience."
