"I recently visited the Griffin for a Sunday roast with my family, and unfortunately, it wasn't worth the money. The meat, particularly the beef, was severely undercooked, and even the roast pork had a red center. The roast potatoes, intended to be crispy, were heavily salted but still raw in the middle. The vegetables were decent; it's hard to go wrong with them. However, the gravy was disappointing—it was already poured on the plate and had the consistency of tap water, leaving all the food swimming in it. Overall, I was very disappointed with the Sunday roast. The only positives were the excellent service and a properly chilled Guinness. Sadly, this is yet another Brentford eatery that fails to live up to expectations."
