"Thought I’d add a review as there aren’t any that recent. My housebound parents live locally and I live an hour and a half away, so when I visit they always want a chip shop lunch. I’ve always found the food good here, it’s typical in that fresh out of the fryer it’s best, and if it’s been sat a while maybe not so good so I suppose busy times with good turnover is the key. The large chips portion is huge we’ve learned it’s adequate for 3 people now, so much better value than the price initially suggests. You get a choice of small or large cod but the haddock is just large good to know depending on your appetite. Pies have always been good, not soggy anytime I’ve had one. I’ve never caught them busy, which worries me that one day it might not be there anymore. If you want your convenient chip shop then make sure you use it!"
