"My husband and I were looking for somewhere relaxed but special for my birthday dinner. We don't get to go out much because of the kids so this needed to be good. And Grow40 was perfect! service was incredible. Cocktails were deeeelicious. Dinner was lush too. I'd describe it as extremely well cooked simple food. No fush, just great ingredients with great taster. I had scallops with pea puree and the puree was incredible! Followed by sea bass with broccoli and an olive/tomato chunky salsa type thing. Also lush. Def recommend. It was the perfect start to our evening before strolling through town for a few after dinner drinks."

"We turned up for our reservation on a busy Friday only to be told that they had private parties booked and there was no table for us. They had left a message on our home phone but as we were away for the weekend we hadn’t received it. Our main issue was the offhand attitude of the staff who were rude and not at all helpful. Heard from another restaurant that they are closing in the New Year- good riddance!!"
