"Popped in on the off chance, having not booked and were met with a welcoming smile, as were the doggos. Had a delicious meal and can highly recommend both the sea bass with Bombay potatoes and mango salsa or the Arrancini (mozzarella wrapped in risotto rice) flippin’ gorgeous. "Awful experience. Poor quality food, definitely recommend avoiding this restaurant. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and although the starters and specials seemed appealing, the reality was disappointing. We tried the deep-fried Risotto balls as a starter, which were bland and unappetizing. The mushroom and gorgonzola risotto I ordered for my main course lacked flavor and was more like warm, creamy rice. My partner's Italian burger was a complete letdown - it seemed more like a cheap, frozen burger from a discount store rather than a gourmet dish. Overall, the food was subpar and we left highly unsatisfied."

"Bit of a step down from my previous visit unfortunately. Service was slow despite us being one of only two tables the whole time we were there. Pizzas were not as good as the last visit, with the bases being very thin and lacking in crust, we also both had large amounts of burnt flour on the underside which left a bit of an aftertaste. My son's burger was great though, and he was very happy with it. There seemed to be a lot of takeaway orders leaving the kitchen, which I think was partly why service was slower than before. I'd avoid sitting by the windows if you can, the delivery drivers park there and their headlights make it feel like you're under a spotlight :"

"We had a very disappointing meal in the STONEAGED restaurant on Saturday. Service slow, restaurant cold, food okay. We arrived and was seated by 13:15 (table booked for 13:30). Starter arrived at 14:00, we had to ask for the main after waiting over half hour with empty starter plates. At 16:00 we got so fed up waiting after finishing the main, we paid the bill and left without desert or coffee. The room was so cold, most of us had to put our overcoats back on to keep warm. The food was ok, when it eventually came, but it was a great shame the whole experience was spoilt by the service, plus, there was no Christmas options on the menu as we were told when booking. The slow service was also a little surprising as there was only one other table of 4 in the restaurant, although the bar looked a bit busier. Overall, a disappointing experience just before Christmas."
