"I absolutely adored everything about this cafe, from the beautiful selection of fresh cakes to the gorgeous decor and charming artworks on the walls. We ordered 2 violet macarons, a sky tart, a chic fudge cake, and a pistachio nougat disc along with 2 espressos. All the cakes were incredibly delicious, the service was outstanding, and the complimentary soda water with the coffee was a nice touch. The total bill came to £34, which we found to be quite reasonable for the location in Soho and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Bravo!"

"We had an afternoon tea here this week, and it was absolutely perfect! They offer all the British classics, served in an elegant setting by very professional and friendly staff. I couldn't ask for more if you're looking for a lovely afternoon in the heart of London. My favorites were the hearty scones and the rich, dense chocolate mousse cake. There's so much delicious food at a very reasonable price—I can't recommend this place enough!"

"We were left feeling disappointed as we really wanted to like this restaurant. Each time we have visited, we have experienced very little to no service. It took us 15 minutes to be acknowledged when we arrived, despite standing in front of the bar. During this time, two staff members were busy adding items to the till. A simple "hi, be right there" would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, this lack of service has been a recurring issue. Despite having to go to the bar for drinks, we managed to place our order. However, we were informed about 5 minutes later that they did not have what we had ordered. After changing our order, we were again told after 10 minutes that they did not have what we wanted, even though it was on the menu. Overall, we found the experience to be disappointing, primarily due to the lack of service. It has the potential to be a great restaurant, but it appears that being understaffed is a significant issue for them."

"This was the best brunch we've had in a long time! I highly recommend it to everyone! The Egg Benedict was amazing and the pancakes were delicious. The service was great and the waiters were very friendly."

"I came here for breakfast and found it to be really cute and small. The menu was small but offered a good variety of options, including pastries, egg dishes, and French toast."

"The food was great (had a very lovely afternoon tea) but unfortunately the service was poor; although polite when speaking to us the service staff pretty much ignored us once we had ordered our food. My friend and I wanted to order another hot drink but had to wait 45 minutes for someone to take our order (despite attempting to get someone’s attention several times) and then again when wanting to get the bill it took standing up and putting our coats on after another long time waiting (and asking several people) to actually get the bill. I want to blame it on how busy the restaurant was however we saw several tables around us come and go in the time we were there."

"The price is too high for the portion of meat . I have been today,6 May .The tea was not good :hot water with 3 leaves ,only for me 8,50 pound.Service charge mandatory for them of 15%. I not suggest it. Non lo consiglio :scarso rapporto qualità /prezzo. Serve per prima a tavolo chi spende di più Abbiamo preso tre secondi da 15 pound un antipasto da 7 e un te da 8,50. Circa 80 euro."

"We initially had a reservation for afternoon tea but decided to switch to the regular menu instead. The staff appeared to have no issue with this change. However, during this visit, we encountered a significant problem; we were told it would be classified as a no-show and that we would be charged for it. Earlier in the week, I had also called to reserve a table for afternoon tea at 1:30 PM, but I was told to arrive at 12 PM because the 1:30 slot was unavailable. We ended up staying until 2:40 PM, so it was clear there was no need for us to change our reservation. Additionally, our table was not properly cleaned, and we ended up ordering food via the app after our afternoon tea because we did not receive any service during our visit."

"We were given the gift of a afternoon tea with gin and had the best afternoon. The food was all delicious, a gorgeous array of sandwiches and cakes. We had to take our time because there was so much to eat and we just wanted to savour all of the flavours. The best thing about the whole experience was the service, it elevated the experience to feel so much more decadent. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was very welcoming and you genuinely felt that they enjoyed their jobs, they were so friendly. Our waiter for the afternoon tea, Denilson, was great, so professional and polite. He was so friendly and attentive, he really made us feel special. A perfect afternoon and highly recommended."

"The venue itself is lovely, with a charming vintage interior that set the perfect atmosphere for our New Year's Eve dinner reservation at 7pm. However, our party of four was disappointed when we were led through the main dining room and into a conservatory at the back. The seating was uncomfortable and the decor left much to be desired. The food, unfortunately, did not live up to our expectations either. The dishes were unappetizing and poorly presented. The mains, like the chicken and pork, were overcooked and dry. The famous 'Khinkali' dumplings were thick and heavy, making it difficult to enjoy more than one. The beef in the Kharcho stew was tough and the walnut sauce was overpowering. In the end, we decided to skip dessert and cut our losses. While the service was excellent and the staff friendly, the lack of care and presentation in the food left us feeling unsatisfied. The portions were generous, but the overall experience fell short of the high price tags. Unfortunately, we left the restaurant feeling disappointed and resentful."

"The food was disappointing; it honestly tasted like canned food, even though they present themselves as a nice restaurant. As for their vegan options, they only deduct about £1 for removing meat, without offering any substitutes like tofu. Essentially, you end up with some basic vegetables in sauce served with Uncle Ben's rice for £10. That said, it turned out to be a fun experience — my girlfriend and I laughed all night at the quirky kitchen and restaurant decor. We'll remember this memorable restaurant forever! Just kidding about going back for a second chance. Emma, if you're reading this, I love you, and thank you for making our restaurant outings enjoyable!"

"Is it worth the trip to North London to visit this place? The answer is: yes, you don't know what you're missing yet! Their food is simply delicious. Everything is cooked at the time, so even though it takes a little to come, you can tell it's hot and fresh. We were a group of 8 and mostly ordered for sharing with few dishes to have in pairs, although you can pick mains with individual portions as well. I strongly recommend the bread with cheese and egg, it's sublime!"

"The food was horrific. I’m Polish and I live in Warsaw where we have A LOT of Georgian restaurant that I visit regularly. First of all, the price-quality ratio is totally outrageous. £18 for a Khachapuri that resembled low quality langosh is just outrageous even for London. Secondly, we came to try Chinkali with broth and meat only to be told there are non available ?! . I thought it’s a staple? Service was terrible, the waitress disappeared as soon as we got food did I mention we were the only guests in the restaurant? and the only instance that got her off the phone was me getting up to use the loo, I suppose to make sure we don’t walk out without paying the bill. She even had audacity to put “service charge” on the bill…. Not to mention that soft drinks and beer have no pricing on the menu and I only found out when paying that I was charged £7 for mediocre draft. Honestly, avoid, avoid and don’t bother. There is a lovely Indian place just 10 min walk toward Balham Bombay Bicycle Chef where you will be treated as a guest is supposed to and on top of that you will get some exquisite food."

"The positive in our dinner was the food we ate was very good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was also very good. The disappointment was that the menu was very different then the one we reviewed online before booking (no seafood at all) and the menu offered was limited by what was available that evening to order. We waited 15 minutes for an additional dish and then was told it was unavailable. Not sure I would try it again."
