"We had a table for two- at the side- not too far from amenities which is great for me as i have osteoarthritis- but it was also very near a large table in centre of the room which held a baby shower party-a bit noisier- however we werent there too long as we were going on the hall tour.Felt a lot was charged on the menu that could be considered overpriced for what they are but its mostly how they make the cash for Salmsbury Hall to stay open for free- along with donations- so i guess they 're on the higher side to keep going.Toilets very clean &well kept but in keeping with the 'Heritage ' old fashioned style.Good clean spacious disabled toilet/baby changing too.Staff a bit rushed off their feet but hope they have more when the place is full."

"The General Manager (Silviu) was very welcoming having known him from his previous position we know he delivers great service! The food was delicious; the range and quality of the dishes all delivered great flavour. Not exactly on a busy road, more so off the beaten track, The Halfway must have been a village pub but is now a good quality food operation. Smallish car park. Food and service were spot on!"
