"After I had passed the siam cottage for many years a day, but set on our way with another near-by-paurier, I decided one day to review their reviews online. there were a couple who had lived in Thailand for many years, but now live. in perth. they said they often make the 4 hours round trip to eat here, as there are “the most authentic Thai aromes they have tasted with Thai” (or words to this effect). with a selection of Thai Chinese dresses it offers for the whole family. I was always a chicken panang or pad thai type, with my partner more in lemon chicken or similar Chinese dishes. in the course of the years we have worked quite a lot on our wise, although the takeaway menu, various dishes that we otherwise do not have. since every court we have tried was excellent, it is encouraged to take a leap of faith try something new every time. our personal favorite is just now the chicken cashew thai style...a taste sensation! The chicken panang is on the same with everything I tasted in Thailand. the service is always excellent, delivery fast we have a smile a chat at the door hit when it comes. price is also very reasonable in consideration of the portion size, for restaurant quality eat directly to their door, it will not be much better than siam cottage. when collecting an order a night from the restaurant, I noticed that the dishes were delivered to tables, looked out raised, very well presented huge portions. the personal was also very attentively friendly. although in the decor in restaurant, we do not tend to visit restaurants for their facility anyway. we visit eating that customer service is confident that a visit would exceed our expectations. we have not sampled many starters/deserts from the Takeaway menu, so can not comment so much on them. we got starters as soon as they were beautiful, but with the portion size they get on their net pages....3 net, a part rice a part bohnenprout nudeln is a fixed for a family of 4 (two adult, two children). we look forward to our next taste feeling. keep them good work."

"This place changed to worsen, I'm surprised it still standing. Upon arrival at the door, a4 paper tape it to the door saying Pay before you eat . with is fair enough, as you approach the staff they take you straight away to the bar so you pay for your meal, they take out the unlimited pop drinks with you need to spend more money. £2.80 for a pint of coca cola that didn't even taste like the genuine one, more like water down and the cheap ones you get from supermarkets for less than 50p, ridiculous. So the table for 2, they took us to the busiest and loudest corner, even when we politely ask if we can be seated in a quieter table. Staff looked at us funny and said no. With we founded very rude. As soon you sit down at the table you've been observed like crazy! whenever you go the staffs and manager has eyes on you. On the walls, there is a notice poorly made written by hand and once again a4 paper saying you can eat from 12 noon till 5.30 pm if you stay longer you be charged! very passive writing. This place has zero maintenances, you can see dust everywhere especially of the curtains I don't think they ever been washed. Mould at the ceiling and the walls you can spot from miles, not to mention poor chairs and tables. Cutlery is not presentable I had to wipe in the napkin before using it. Food buffet variety is nothing special and the desserts are horrible, cheap icecreams, most of the desserts are from supermarkets, they left in the trays for god knows how long. (You never know you might eat out of date food). Plates are chipped, some of them wet. Bowls bearly any. I and my partner agreed that the food was over salted and had too much pepper inside. It's a cheap Chinese if you can call that, use to be alright but now it's just a no, we won't be back here again. Prices for the buffet are somehow ok for lunch but then you need to spend more on drinks with the bill could be expensive. Lunch Monday Thursday £7.5 Adult £4.5 Child, Buffet at the evenings seems overpriced: Monday Thursday Dinner (5:30pm 10pm) £8.5 Adult £5 Child Friday Saturday: Lunch (12noon 5:30pm) £8 Adult £5 Child Dinner (5:30pm 10pm) £9.5 Adult £5 Child Sunday All Day and Bank Holidays (except good Friday): 12noon 10pm, £8.5 Adult, £5 Child What we noticed many people left leftovers, including myself as I had undercooked potatoes. The way this business is going soon or later they will charge you for leaving leftovers! As we were leaving the restaurant all staffs including manger had eyes on us, felt like they not trusting us. It's terrible to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. After the food, we both had stomach pains and my partner felt sick, we unsure what could have been caused by it but we know for sure we go elsewhere and pay a little bit extra to have a proper Chinese rather than this that makes you sick."

"Despite having been to the Red Snapper on Waterloo Street several times, I've only been to the one in Seven Dials once. There's a reason for that, and it isn't location. The Waterloo Street restaurant is actually further away from me, but my experience at Seven Dials was so disappointing that I didn't want to go back. We reserved our table, as usual, for their 9pm sitting. When we turned up, I was immediately disappointed to see how crammed together the tables were when the other restaurant is so comfortable. When we came to order they'd run out of their signature Red Snapper dish, at prime time on a Saturday night, no less. So, my friend ordered another fish dish. It turned out they'd run out of that too, so he ended up settling for chicken. Our food order took so long to arrive that we ended up drinking all of our booze before our starter even got there and had to go to the Off Licence across the road for more. Then there was so long in between our starter and main course that they ended up practically closing the restaurant up around us before we'd finished eating. Not conducive to a pleasant meal. The food was lovely though, so I may be being a little unfair. However, I'd talked the place up so much to my friends (who'd never been there before) that it ended up being a huge anti-climax. I think I'll be sticking to the Waterloo Street one in future."
