"Called in for some lunch and didn't know what to expect really, it looked like a town pub from the outside. It was brilliant. The food was lovely, reasonably priced (not cheap but felt well worth what we got) and the guy serving couldn't have been more hospitable. We had a lovely lunch and ended up staying for deserts and sole drinks which wasn't planned. It was very well presented inside, if anything we felt a little underdressed in casual clothes on the way back from the swimming pool not that we were made to feel it in any way. There is a car park behind the pub which was very convenient. Plenty of food and drink options for us and the kids and it was served, presented and tasted great. It felt like a lot of effort was put into the food preparation and presentation, which mirrored the general feeling of the pub based on the gentleman running the bar and restaurant area and the way the area generally felt. Definitely one to visit if you fancy a nice meal out or pelasant place to grab some drinks and you're in the area. We would definitely go again. Food drinks: We didn't stay at the hotel, just ate and drank there and it was fantastic."
