"I booked a table for my girlfriend and I. When we arrived the restaurant was empty which was a bit surprising as it was 7pm. We were seated an asked whether we wanted still or sparkling water, not knowing that it would be £4.50 a bottle. When it came to ordering food, the menu was small but not too small. We were then told after asking for the belly pork that there was in fact none left, something that we had not been told before. Instead we got the beef feather blade and the Thai red curry. The curry’s portion size was a bit on the small side considering it was £16. The beef was bland and there wasn’t enough gravy provided. When it came to ordering desserts, we wanted the strawberries and cream and the ice cream/sorbet. I enquired about the flavours of ice cream and sorbet available and was told I would receive 3 scoops. So I chose 3 different flavours. The desserts arrived and we received strawberries and ice cream instead of cream. And we got 3 scoops of the same flavour of sorbet. We didn’t complain at the time, feeling it wasn’t important. Service was ok, though we did have to go up to the bar to find someone to pay the bill. Probably would not go again and couldn’t recommend to others."

"My wife and I visited the restaurant the day after Valentine's Day on a Friday night. We had booked a cabaret show with a steak dinner and it was fantastic. The performances were great and entertaining. I have only seen cabaret shows while on vacation, and this one felt like a step up from what I was used to. My wife had never been to a cabaret show before, and she enjoyed it as well. The host was also very funny and the food was great. I ordered my steak cooked well, and it came out somewhere between medium and medium rare, but it was still good. If you have a complaint, make sure to address it with the staff as some people can be difficult to deal with. The drinks were also fantastic, and the service was great overall. Our waitress, Emma, provided excellent service and I would definitely visit again in the future. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I couldn't have asked for more."
