"I ws so looking forward to visiting Mr P 's having checked the menu (I have allergies so needed to know there was a choice of things I could have). The decor also looked fun! When we arrived however we were presented with an unrecognisable menu and overheard another waiter tell their diners 1st Feb was a new menu, the first time it had been changed and was therefore reduced as the chef got used to it. There was 1 thing on the whole menu I could eat. Never mind let 's move on my husband and I were out for my birthday and I didn 't want to make a fuss. When it did arrive the food was delicious but my goodness so so overpriced!! I don 't know where Mr P 's is trying to pitch itself but I will not be going back. They have a 'small plates ' section to use as a tapas collection where most of the dishes are over £10. They recommend you have 3 or 4! My goodness so expensive. Finally ambience. It was bloomin ' freezing. I mean ridiculously cold to the point it really impacted our enjoyment and we were sitting away from the door. The couples near the door were eating with their coats on! Come on Mr P, if you 're charging the earth don 't scrimp on the heating and install a door closer! One lady got very upset when for the 5th time customers came in and left the door to swing shut but it just stopped halfway back letting in the bitterly cold wind. I do not recommend this restaurant. Spend your well earned cash somewhere better value for money with more choice and heating!"
