"I have made the booking for me and my 5 year old daughter as a birthday party for her. we were unfortunately too late by the traffic (we live about 2 hours of london.) when I called the restaurant to inform and apologise to them, I was told that we were not able to visit. I explained the situation and that we were minutes away, but the man insisted that we are not accommodated. he was rude, unprofessional and was extremely involuntary to help. I explained that I was happy to be within the hour to not disturb or disturb any other bookings. we arrived shortly after and there was no mention that we could not sit down. we enjoyed our lunch, but was sadly overshadowed by the extremely unpleasant phone calls minutes before our arrival. when we were gone, I counted several empty tables that have confused me even more! my 5 year old daughter asked me all day, why the man on the phone said he would "don't let us go to lunch." a special day made very unpleasant."
