"I was amazed to find a fish and chip shop with a wide variety of vegan options! I decided to try the vegan tofu cake and it blew my mind! The dish was incredibly delicious, large, and packed with flavor, complete with a crispy coating. The sauces offered were the perfect addition to the meal. I will definitely be back and feel that the prices are worth it. The owners also appear to be doing their part to help those in need by feeding the homeless, which is a beautiful gesture."

"I asked if they would fry me a fresh small cod and the lady said yes sure. I went away for 5 minutes, came back and she handed me the box straight away. I thought it would of taken more than 5 minutes to fry a piece of cod but I didn't say anything. When I drove home(5 minutes away)and tasted the cod it was no way freshly fried, I certainly know what a piece of cod tastes like when it's just come out the frier, it had been sitting in the display cabinet for some time in my opinion. The batter was soft and soggy and it wasn't hot like when cod IS freshly fried. If your not prepared to fry it fresh for me just say so please. When the cod is fried fresh I have no complaints but when it's been sitting there for some time in the display cabinet it's not pleasant atall. Not satisfied on this occasion. "I recently ordered a bag of chips at a restaurant. I was only informed AFTER I HAD PAID that there would be a wait for my order. Shouldn't they inform customers of this before they pay, so they can decide if they want to wait? Additionally, when asked if I wanted salt and vinegar on my chips, I requested only vinegar due to health reasons. However, when I got home, I found that salt had already been added without my knowledge. This lack of communication and disregard for customer preferences led me to throw away my last bag of chips from Martella's. It is disappointing that the restaurant did not own up to their mistake. I will not be returning as a customer."

"we expected a high quality fish and chip restaurant in the vene of harry ramsden. the seat and waiter service was good, but eating was very common. freshly cooked restaurant chips should be crispy outside and on the inside they do not float. also plates must be large enough for the food. plaice should be served alongside chips that are not served above them due to lack of space. the waitress was very pleasant, polite and friendly, but the ambiente was zero. I would not recommend deepthroat blue in norwich to be a friend of the fear of the comeback."

"When this Fish and Chip sop first opened, it was excellent. However the quality of food has gradually deteriorated over time to the point where everything that they sell is greasy and tastes, well just not very nice. I certainly would not recommend anything from them. The last meal I had from them was a simple Chips and Peas....simple enough you would think. However the chips were both small and greasy...and some of them were even undercooked. The peas were the best part of the meal.....In summarry I threw them in the bin and will never return again. My Advice if you fancy Fish and Chips....try anywhere but here!!!!!"
