"We weren't offered water and had to request it, which is unacceptable for a venue of this caliber. When our food arrived, we had no cutlery and couldn't find a waiter, so we had to go to the bar to ask for some. Our second round of drinks was never ordered, so we finished with just one drink. When we asked for the bill, we waited 20 minutes without it arriving, and had to request it again. The place was only half full, so there was no reason for such poor service.
In retrospect, we should have asked for the service charge to be removed. The food and drinks were good, and the venue itself was attractive, which makes the disappointing experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I consistently receive much better service at Vinoteca near Cannon Street, often at a better price. I would only recommend this venue to someone I’d rather not see enjoy their meal."
