"so I needed a quick pick me up after a ...not so great weekend...so I tapped in sushi into the yelp search engine and it brought me here... I would say every Yo Sushi I have been to are all the same...which is a good thing...staff are very attentive...this helps having a button at your table which signals for them to come over...and the menu is plentiful.. I personally love the sashimi ..so I ordered lots of this at once..and grabbed a grey £5 plate full of different types of salmon ..it is better value of money to get the grey plates because if you order maki, nigri and sashimi it would cost you more than £5... This was washed down with hot sake which tastes better heated ..the sake menu is not extensive..offering only two types...but hey what do you expect from a chain... I personally felt quite comfortable having my solo sushi feast,,because I admit when I go for sushi I am not sociable...to talk would give me less time to stuff my face with maki... Overall a very tidy, good atmosphere place to be....you just have to be careful counting the plates as you go along...as Yo sushi is not the most cheapest of places in comparison to such places as Wasabi....and it can be easy to get carried away.."

"Wonderful food as always, with finest ingredients immaculately prepared and served by Jenice and the team. Japanese is never cheap but at least with Suhinoen you can taste the quality and value. Would and regularly do recommend for lunch or dinner and no one is ever disappointed and it usually becomes a favourite of theirs too. There is bar code ordering (very Japanese) but just have a word when you get there as you can still just order from the waiting staff."

"Great, affordable food, fantastic vegan options. Our waiter, Su-Rui, was incredibly friendly and efficient and made the visit that much more enjoyable. Really calming atmosphere, that was comfortable and intimate. The décor added to the casual atmosphere as well. One of the few places in Edinburgh that serves exquisite Japanese food, definitely worth a visit."

"Yesterday we delivered our food. the take out boxes are really noble, and perfection for what followed. the best sushi I've ever consecrated! tonight I'm feeding in, by chance I'm on the way back to my airbnb by a full day of shopping. I was warmly welcomed and welcomed. but what is really impressive is the hospitality that every supplier has shown that has gone through the door. in the last 15 minutes it was about 10. I appreciate that in every category. that is an amazing sound. feed her eyes on this beautiful presentation!"

"Haven’t been here in over a year until today but wasn’t impressed this time around. Whilst service is polite and they do attend to you, the place does feel even less authentic now than before. Japanese language gets you nowhere which detracts from the overall experience. This is more of an asian fusion place tbh. Secondly (and perhaps most importantly) the food was extremely oily today which is really unhealthy (not that Tonkotsu Ramen is a health dish). But today the soup was literally swimming in a sea of oil (see pic below). Please take with this as this the absolute basic of any so-called “Japanese”."

"I recently discovered this restaurant and was extremely impressed. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and the food was exceptional. My son and I are both big fans of sushi and found the sashimi to be some of the best we have had in a long time. The soft shell crab and Gyozas were also delicious, and the takoyaki was outstanding. We will definitely be returning soon!"

"I had a wonderful experience at Akari! I had dinner with a friend there in the evening, and we ordered gyoza along with a variety of sushi (maki, uramaki, and temaki), all of which was delicious. I particularly recommend the eel temaki. The selection of beloved dishes was excellent and reasonably priced. I also want to highlight the service; our wait staff was very attentive, and the food arrived promptly. It's a vibrant restaurant with fantastic food, and I will definitely return!"
"really enjoyed the meal, good selection of Japanese dressed and also decent variety got vegetarian. However, the service is not great during the busy time. we came for our reservation at 8:15 at 8:10. we were told that we were early enough to come back in 10-25 minutes. So we came back in 15 minutes and had to wait. then we sat with strangers on the same table because of limited space. halfway through the meal we were offered another table, but it felt then moved in a senseless manner. we didn't get our menus until we asked for 5-10 minutes. then we did not get our drinks until after our food arrived and again we had to ask. I think the personal gets something flowing when it's busy, but they're beautiful and eating made it worth it."
