"what i had: har gow (4 pieces) 4.30,] vegan mandu (4 pieces) 3.50,] spicy bamboo shoot salat with nuts (vegan) 5.00,] taro and ginko in green curry (vegan) 10.00,] vegan karaage bento 9.00 set lunch with cold drink] offer a great selection of snacks and meals from dimm-s also a surprising amount of vegan options! So, I recommend it definitely for vegan and non-vegans on the look for fresh, tasty and affordable sorts of Chinese food for any time of the day! the dim sum is good (dumplings have something to improve, but still great)! the beside dishes and main dishes are fresh, quality and well cooked, and I love that they use ingredients that are not often used in the typical Chinese food price (i.e. gingko, prickly ash etc., which is an atem of fresh air especially for the vegan options, as it goes through the usual tofu and mushrooms! the staff of this mostly family-run restaurants is friendly and warm, they are also very flexible to request. I love the eclectic decorations, which are mainly Chinese antiques, but somehow still has a contemporary feeling for it, perhaps due to the minimal design and the well-defined seating. the ambiente is a mix of cozy and stylish, a place that I also like to spend time, even if it just enjoy some snacks with a pot tee while people watch and take in the beautiful antiques (some of them are for sale) in the load. I also heard that they have musical entertainment at night. updated from previous review to 2019-08-24"

"This used to be our favourite place to eat. The best buns ever, wonderful ingredients, so well prepared and beautiful every time. However we ordered through Uber eats recently and it was almost inedible, so much sauce in the buns it was a disaster. We couldn't taste any of the fillings (soft shell crab chicken) they were swamped in sauce and quite badly seasoned. Something must have changed, the lady who used to run Sakura was impeccable and the food was always perfect. Our last experience was so far from this it feels like there’s no way it’s the same team. Such a shame as it was in our top places to eat."

"My group of three went to the restaurant on a Thursday evening around 6:30 (they open at 5) and we barely managed to get the last seats before the wait time went up to 40 minutes. It was incredibly busy! We ordered three types of delicious vegan ramen and also shared some gyoza and seaweed salad. The menu at the restaurant is much larger than what is available on Uber Eats, which is great. However, it would be nice to be able to enjoy the menu at home too, since it is difficult to secure a seat at the restaurant."

"We went to this restaurant on a Tuesday to celebrate my birthday. After being seated, we were interrupted multiple times by the staff rushing us to finish our meals because they wanted to accommodate a larger group waiting at the door. Despite no reservation on our table and other customers still enjoying their evening, we were pressured to leave quickly to make room for the group. This rushed experience tainted what was supposed to be a special night, and we left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed with the service. It is understandable for restaurants to get busy in London, but prioritizing turnover over customer experience is unacceptable."
