"many vegetarian and gluten-free options. the menu has some really interesting options as well as the normal favorites, and eating was really delicious and well presented. the service was quick and friendly and the seat was comfortable. it is also so beautiful near the river for a walk afterwards. easy to foot from the most important hotels in the environment. "The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere but it is one of the worst currys I have ever had. The lamb curry was on tiny bits of bone that were floating n the dish. Each piece that I pulled out was covered in fat! Finding the meat between bone and the fat yuk!.. I mentioned to the waiter that is wasn 't very nice and they should say on the menu that the lamb is on the bone. They just said 'yes I keep telling them that ' but no suggestions of refund or replacement. Considering how very expensive is, very unsatisfactory!!! "The most wonderful first time experience was had at Babuji in Kentish Town, on New Year's Eve! The service is amazing. They go over and beyond to make you feel welcomed. You're greeted with warmth and the unfinished kitchen wall sets the mood of modern day India. The food is exceptionally delicious. Flavour packed and satisfyingly filling. Prices are super reasonable and so are the portion sizes. Be sure to order the butter naan! We had two helpings! Will absolutely be back."

"We were on our way to the Forum, and Babuji is conveniently located right across from the tube station. It's not an upscale place with luxurious seating, but wow, the food is fantastic. We started with a couple of chaats, and I ordered the Bengali prawn curry. I also tasted some of my daughter’s lamb curry, which was excellent. The service was very friendly, and our food arrived quickly enough that we didn't have to worry about being late for the show. We had a wonderful time, and we’ll definitely be back for the next concert at the Forum."

"Marvellous food and friendly service. They were perhaps just a little too attentive. There must be an optimum number of times to ask if everything is alright and they just slightly exceeded my preference. I would definitely go again even though they don't serve alcohol because the food was superb."
